The protection of stopped centrifugal pump

Even  the best pumps, if not maintained, will not achieve higher efficiency,  so we must pay attention to some basic requirements in the process of  using centrifugal pumps. The followingdescribes the requirements for the centrifugal pump to stop running.

1.  After the centrifugal pump stops running, close the inlet valve of the  pump. After the pump is cooled, close the valve of the auxiliary system.

2,  high-temperature pump parking should be carried out in accordance with  the provisions of the equipment technical documents, after parking,  should be half a turn every 20 to 30 minutes until the pump temperature  drops to 50 °C.

3.  When the cryopump is parked, when there is no special requirement, the  pump should always be filled with liquid; the suction valve and the  discharge valve should be kept normally open; the cryopump with double  mechanical seal, the liquid level controller and the seal in the pump  seal cavity The liquid should maintain the pumping pressure of the pump.

4.  Centrifugal pumps that transport crystals that are easy to crystallize,  easy to solidify, and easy to precipitate. Stop the pump and prevent  clogging, and flush the pump and pipeline with clean water or other  medium in time.

5. Drain the liquid accumulated in the pump to prevent rust and cracking.

Centrifugal  pumps can be widely used in the power, metallurgy, coal, building  materials and other industries to transport slurry containing solid  particles. Such as  thermal power plant ash removal, metallurgical ore dressing slurry  transport, coal washing plant coal slurry and heavy medium transport. When  the centrifugal pump is working, the pump needs to be placed on the  land, the suction pipe is placed in the water, and the pump needs to be  started. Due  to the structural limitations of the mud pump and the submerged  centrifugal pump, the motor needs to be placed above the water surface  during operation, and the pump is placed in the water, so it must be  fixed. Otherwise, the motor will fall into the water and the motor will  be scrapped. Moreover,  since the length of the long shaft is generally fixed, the installation  of the pump is troublesome, and the application is subject to many  restrictions.
